Mastering FTID: The Art of the Fake Tracking ID Method to Refund Anything
Nowadays, almost every fraudster is aware of the Amazon refund trick. However, it didn’t use to be like this. Since the beginning, we have been in the refunding scene. Our team has seen the niche grow on forums and beyond. The refunding trick we are talking about works on Amazon and many more websites, contrary to popular belief. More e-commerce stores have adopted their customer obsession beliefs. As a result, they will do anything to keep the customer happy and coming back for more. And boy, do we come back for more juicy and easy refunds. Let me tell you about it.
The basics of refunding.
Before you get started, you need to understand that refunding is not based on one method that’s guaranteed to work in every store. It is not about the method, in contrast. Refunding is about understanding the returning system of a specific company and finding the best way to guide an employee to wrongfully issue you a refund. You need some confidence to convince the employee and a functioning brain to make this work.
Why refunding will never be patched.
Refunding won’t ever be patched because companies have no way to stop it. As a matter of fact, every company you will attempt to refund is aware of the scam. Be that as it may, they still have to provide excellent support to every customer because a mad customer won’t come back, and bad word of mouth is the worst that could happen to a company. Most of them are OK with taking the loss of refunding you the product, hoping that you will make your next profitable order with them.
Is refunding safe?
Before you start refunding, you need to be aware that it is technically still illegal. That’s why you need to be cautious and play it safe, especially if you just started out doing this. Refunding can’t ever be patched, but that doesn’t mean that companies can’t find out that you are lying to them. If you fuck it up big time, you can get your account closed or even get into legal problems. As an illustration, the German e-commerce site Otto took legal action against dozens of people who wrongfully refunded their orders. The stories are still floating around on forums to this day, and they scare many people off. However, the chances of this happening to you are minimal, and if you play it smart, you’ll be fine.
Amazon refund without return trick
Amazon is easily the most refunded website due to its customer care obsession. For this reason, their support staff is actively being told to simply hit the ‘Refund’ button to keep the clientele happy.
If you want to refund Amazon without returning the ordered items, we suggest going with electronics. Not only are they easy to refund, but they are also easily resold and retain a higher percentage of their value. To refund the product with the most ease, ensure that the item you’re working with is ‘Sold by and Dispatched from Amazon.‘ This is essential, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to refund products sold by individual sellers, especially the smaller ones.
Did not Arrive (DNA) method
Anyone familiar with refunding will know the term Did not Arrive or DNA in short. The method is pretty self-explanatory from the name. You contact Amazon and tell them that you did not receive the package.
Examples of things you can say to the employee:
- You and your wife are utterly upset and frustrated because the new phone you ordered was a present for your son.
- Your son’s birthday is in 2 days already.
- You would’ve never thought that Amazon would give you such problems as you’re a returning customer with no bad experience to date.
Despite the ease of this method, I wouldn’t recommend it in 2022. The method has become outdated. Almost every shop has tracking nowadays, and they will investigate the package with the carrier when it says it has been delivered. A couple of years ago, there was a real problem with workers in distribution centers stealing packages, but things have changed since then.

Fake Tracking ID (FTID) Method
Performing a refund with the FTID method is easy and comes with an extremely high success rate. For this reason, this is the most common way that people refund Amazon and almost any webshop today.
What the FTID method comes down to is that you trick the webshop into thinking that you returned your order and it’s in their warehouse. Without the item being returned there. There are numerous ways to manipulate the tracking, and thus there are multiple ways you can fabricate the fake refund. First, we will go over the ‘Empty Package‘ FTID method.
If you’re going to be applying this method to any other webshop than Amazon, I suggest you use PayPal to make your payment so you can file a chargeback claim with them later on.
‘Empty Package‘ FTID method
Unlike other refunding methods where you complain about a problem with the product ordered or claim to have received an empty box or nothing at all, this method is entirely different.
Once you receive your ordered product, go to the Amazon website and click on return. They will give you a prepaid label, go ahead and download it. Now open the document they provided you with the label inside. What we’ll be doing next is changing the document by removing all personal- and order details from it so that an employee opening it can’t trace it back to us.
Remove the sender info, the package number, and anything else that they could trace back to. After you are done editing, the label should look something like this.

You can probably see where this is going. Next, we are going to change the shipping address. Change it to an address near the return warehouse, as long as it’s not like 2 minutes away. The original tracking code must stay intact so that it can be updated, in this case by DHL.

Once your package has arrived at the recipient’s address, wait at least 14 days after delivery for the highest success rate. The Amazon system does not allow a manual refund 14 days after receiving the return. I recommend you wait at least a week before contacting support for all other stores.
Once you contact support, tell them that you’ve returned the product(s) you ordered and that you’re still waiting for the refund to hit your balance. If the Amazon employee is giving you a hard time talking about ‘Internal Investigations’ and crap like that, just tell them how disappointed you are and how you would’ve never expected this to happen. To speed up the refund process, you have to play the angry and dissatisfied customer, not understanding why they wait so long.
Things to keep in mind
- Make sure the empty package you send out is at least the same weight as the product you are keeping. To avoid raising suspicion, add a few hundred grams to it.
- Use a bubble-wrapped letter and fill it with crappy advertisements that make the recipient want to throw the package right out.
- Contact support at least 14 days after the tracking says ‘Delivered’ and tell them that you’re still waiting for the refund.
- You can use this method to refund smaller orders on brand new accounts, but if you go over 1K, make sure to use an aged account with a couple of regular orders!
